I recently had the opportunity to shoot team and individual portraits of the Curtis HS girls lacrosse team.  Jaci and I had a great time and all the girls were so much fun to work with – from swinging on the goal posts to jumping through the air, they were up for all kinds of crazy pictures.  Obviously, the pictures we gave the girls had to be fairly traditional, however, the opportunity to play around with some of the portraits and make them a bit more edgy and intense sport feeling was too good to pass up.  I thought it would be fun to post a few of those shots on the blog – these are definitely not your normal high school sports pictures.

for the Black Hills High School homecoming dance, I photographed a group of students who were looking for pictures that were a bit more fun and artsy than the standard ones they’d have gotten at the dance.  Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the evening.
